comparison. The Ram mount cradle is more secure than the
old mount but the attachment to the handle bars with the old
mount is better. Other users have complained of the RAM
mount breaking and I was not impressed with its rather
flimsy, overly complicated design. I ended up using the
cradle and fashioning a simple handlebar attachment using a
plumbing clamp. I cannot remove the cradle easily but it
only weighs an ounce or two and stays on the bike. The
