the hasndlebars! mja12910, September 22, 2011 I don't take my bike off road but for what I have ridden
the mount is sturdy. The part that mounts to the
handlebars was too big. I had some black electrical tape
and just kept going around the handlebars until it was
thick enough for the bar mount. It works and didn't break
the bank, what more could you ask for? EJ, October 12, 2010 I have not ridden a bicycle using the mount, though I did
mount it on a bicycle. It seems to have a good grip on the
GPS.
The assembly process seemed complicated (for two plastic
pieces) and the bar clamp portion of the mount is difficult
to expand around a handlebar. All the time I worked to get
it on, I was afraid that it would break. NF, September 22, 2010 Great mount. It was easy to install and despite my
trepidations, this thing really holds onto the GPS (I use to
explorist 300). It would take some serious unwanted force to
remove the GPS by accident. I give this product a 4 out of
5. The only thing that I don't like about it is the
inability to rotate vertically on the fly. Although, being
as static as it is does add to its toughness.
