Fits in cup holder of golf cart and holds unit very stable.
Extra height helps in viewing unit.
One problem is it will not last all that long. As you bend
the wire rod to catch the best viewing angle to sunlight
over time it will end up snapping at the base and there is
no way to reattach.
Still for the price a good mount if you use the Garmin golf
GPS units but don't count on it lasting all that long.

BAD. BAd fit. is very loose, it does not hold it self. Worst
ever seen.

This mount is a great way to use your handheld GPS in the
vehicle. I was only using my Oregon for hiking before, but
with this mount, I use it in the truck whenever I'm going
offroad. The base is heavy and the arm is strong enough
that, so far, it has held the GPS unit exactly where I have
positioned it. I also purchased a power cable to plug into
the cigarette lighter, so batteries are not an issue while
in the vehicle.
I don't use it when I'm driving around town so I like the
fact that the mount goes in so easily.
The only thing that I can see that might not make it work
for someone is the location of the cupholder in your
vehicle. In my truck, the cupholder is forward of the
shifter. As a result, the position of the GPS is just below
the heater control dials on the dashboard, which makes it an
ideal location. I tried it in my car, which has the
cupholder behind the shifter, and to see the GPS I have to
turn my head and therefore take my eyes off the road for too
long. Not ideal.

Perfect for my need. Solid mounting.
