| This is a simple yet effective accessory for the handlebar
mount/base unit. It reduces the minimum grip size for the
handlebar mount, allowing mounting on a small diameter bar
or tube, such as a 1/2" airplane structural tube. | |

| Not all handlebars are created equal and this ribbed gizmo-
spacer does the job right. I employ some electrician's
RUBBER tape, not vinyl electrician's tape.
There is a big difference and it is available at all
hardware stores and supply house. Just look for 3M RUBBER
electrician's tape. Great stuff. I do a few wraps on my
handlebars and then install. Beats trying to trim unruly
inner tube material. | |

| This adapter is necessary for smaller bars. It keeps a tight
fit and protects the bar from scratches as well. I did split
the first one by tightening the clamp too tight but
otherwise it is well designed and durable. | |
