RAM would've replaced under waranty, but I needed it quicker than their turnaround time, so lifetime warranty is valid. Tough versatile for various mounting-I have 3-1.5" balls mounted to attach tablet, keyboard to a swingarm set up. It takes a pounding with offroad driving and seems pretty good in this environment. I have a GPS, a phone-case, and a mini roll-chart installed on the Base and the results are clean. It is mounted to the dash of my dual-sport motorbike. The only downside is once offroad, the total weight allows the array to slowly sink down, due to the vibrations and I am using the hvy-dty ball components as recommended. On the road there have never been any issues or concerns. This product has been on the bike for four months at the writing of this review.
