Rock solid mount and just what I wanted for my GPS as I use
it on several boats beside my own.

Two suction cups on the RAM Mount had surface blemishes
which did not allow the surface to seal against the glass
for attachment. I contacted RAM and as promised the company
warranted the faulty pieces. After replacement parts were
installed the RAM Mount worked flawlessly. We use this with
a GPS in our tractor.

I bought this as a secure mount to support a video camera
on the inside plexiglass windshield of a small aircraft.
The mount would be secure on a flat surface, but aircraft
windshields are molded (for aerodynamics) with small curves
to fit the needs of the aircraft. The RAM Mount Triple
Suction Mount Base RAP-365-224-BU has no flexibility.
Consequently, I could not get all three suction structures
to conform to the slight curves of the windshield. In the
end, I had to mount it on a side window -- which is flat.
On that flat window it worked well. But if your surface
has any curves, forget it. You'd be better off with a
single suction unit. RAM should build a three-suction unit
where the suction units can "go with the flow" of a curved
surface -- by being independently adjustable.

It is light and attaches firmly to window giving me lots of
flexibility to mount anywhere
