provides for a very secure and out of the way option to
mount a GPS or almost any other accessories in most
vehicles Works well with most vehicles that have the old
style rearview mirror mount

Were testing one of these units for a couple months in
hopes of outfitting a fleet of Trucks with them. Being in
California we have crazy vehicle laws and one of them is no
Suction Cup devises are allowed on windshields and you
can’t even hold a cellular device in your hands while
operating a vehicle, even if you a hands free connection.
Now that California is completely broke, were seeing more
and more Fix It tickets being issued. (In this state you
still get to pay the fine and penalties) We upgraded our
mobile phones the first of the year to EVO’s and we wanted
a mount that could handle the abuse our guys put equipment
through, coupled with off road conditions our trucks travel
on. This mount coupled with the SlipGripRamHolder for
the Otterbox Defender, (sold through Ebay only) truly has
been the ticket in our test truck. As mount you cannot go
wrong. Easily adjusted and locked down when needed. The
3" center post on the unit brings the phone to directly
under a Ford F250/F350 rear view mirror. You do get some
vibration but that’s to be expected in a truck with an
extension mount like this.
I also like the fact that these mount system comes with
adapters for Motorcycles and even bikes. I can see this as
a handy tool for mountain biking, utilizing the Evos GPS
system.
Well give it two more months before a fleet conversion, but
so far so good. Two Thumbs Up.

I searched all types of mounts for My Gpsmap60csx Garmin
unit. I tried a suction mount, but it would not hold..I
found this unit ordered it. It fits great, and has lots of
position options.. I mounted it in My 2000 Jeep Cherokee
sport.I am going to buy the mirror mount part for My GM van
so I can transfer it to it also...only issue is the cradle
for my garmin is too tight and hard to remove. I modified
mine...
