could clamp the mating ball more securely. But the molded
plastic—although very good—flexes a bit too much when the
screw is tightened, so it cannot clamp any ball-end as much
as most users would like. But it's excellent for light
loading.
The good thing is it's inexpensive and slim and fit & finish
are excellent.
I'm experimenting with increasing the rigidity by adding

keep this one in the car and then I just keep the other one
on the bike. So easy to switch back and forth. And just a

mount and had broken (quality?) It does an excellent job and

quickly and was a perfect match. The only complaint I have
is the shipping was 3 times the cost of the part.
