(just like their picture) but I soon found out that I don't
have much dash in my 1996 Nissan Maxima so I found an even
better place for it! I put it right under the dash where all
my gauges are and behind the steering wheel. I was surprised
how well it holds. And I can still see nearly all the
instruments displayed, like my speedo and revs. And the X grip
holds my iPhone 5 very well!
*look for the picture I posted Stan, August 20, 2012 I purchased two of these to hold our iPhones. The clamping
mechanism is fantastic. No matter how much shaking there is,
it will never let go. Unfortunately, the circular patch that
is provided to stick the clamp to the dash is weak at best.
In both a Honda Odessey and Ford F150, the clamp came
separated from the dash within hours of initial use.
