attachment of the cradle to the bracket allows for good
adjustment of the GPS angle of viewing. It is not stiff
enough however to resist the vibration when riding on
unmade trails. Marlo, August 3, 2012 I put this on my mountain bike and took it out several times -
on about the third or fourth trip the thinest part of the ball
joint broke in two - all the bumps and constant vibrations
were too much for it. ...and I don't do aggressive mountain
biking. It would probably be fine for road bikes. Peek, May 10, 2012 I use this mount for mainly my canoe while in the
backcountry. It is rock solid. It maneuvers easy enough,
and
remains in place - even through the waves and portages. I
plan to use this for my bike as well and I'm sure it will
work just the same.
Overall this is a great product at a fair price, and I
would
recommend it to anyone in need of a quality GPS Mount.
