Recent reviews for this item: David, March 12, 2012 Item - The Ez strap and mount are of a high quality, but the
positioning of the pin was a very difficult to complete. It
took me approximately 90 minutes to finally position the
pin. The problem - the pin, which only enters from 1 side,
requires a very significant force to force it in place. I
tried simply clicking it in place, a number of tools, but
all attempts failed. I eventually managed to locate the pin
properly by filing down some of the plastic (a very small
amount), with a nail file, which holds the body of the pin
in place. this filing allowed the pin to sit tighter into
the hollow and then the the pin finally located.
Installed on my MTB - the strap is pretty secure when
attached to the bike. I have taken this on some fairly
challenging MTB routes and the there was a small amount of
movement, but what do you expect!!
Shipping - I live in the UK and the shipping was excellent.
The customs declaration was filled out perfectly and so it
eased through the US\UK postal systems with ease.
