(500 mile bike ride across Iowa) and it worked almost
flawlessly. The phone did pop out of the mount once going over
a pothole at 5 miles per hour, but was probably not seated all
the way into the mount. Otherwise, it did it's job perfectly. Mihai, May 15, 2012 The RAM mount is well made and will keep the phone safe in
its grip. I would like to see improvements of the ball joint
tightness (it rotates a bit under trepidation when bike goes
over bumps), also one more size of holding fingers (between
smallest and medium) good for wide and thin phones like
Samsung Galaxy.
Made in USA and not in a quality-free factory overseas was
big factor in my buying decision and I do not regret it.
I doubt there are perfect holders so I sincerely recommend this.
