this is a great GPS unit. works well for backroad
exploring. It also works great on the ski hill to locate
friends when you get separated. I get more satellites than
my previous garmin unit (gpsmap 60cx) and that one had the
high sensitivity receiver! go figure?

This GPS is a must have for anyone that does mountain snowmobile riding. A group of 3 of us were out several days ago when the weather went down suddenly and we became somewhat unsure of our location. Then in the limited visibility we lost track of one of the riders who was behind us at the time and had become stuck. It could have easily taken hours to locate our missing friend in weather conditions such as heavy fog and blowing snow. We were able to communicate via GMRS radio and receive his gps location and then ride to his location and assist him with his stuck snowmobile. Never again will we head out again without the Garmin GPS with us.

As a garmin 120 customer,i enjoyed the product and was getting quite knowlegable.i was very excited when i purchased mine and encouraged 3 of my friends to buy them as well, we all spend alot of time fishing and hunting together. with the 110 and 120 we are able to comminicate together.Until recently i was the one showing them all how to us there g.p.s.last weekend while out atving my garmin 120 was on the clip as i prceeded down the trail it fell off,i could not catch it and the screen hit the ground and broke leaving a scrambled black and green screen, i could not believe that it broke that easily, i was very disappointed in the durability of the rino 120. i just thought you should be aware of this defect. i hope to some day be able to purchase another garmin gps.
