Great gps. Only thing its hard to get contacts installed. Doesn't recognize to add them.

I recently used my Rino 650 on a back country quad excursion, placed a number of way points, studied the general area using the purchased topo map SD card. No problem with any of the functions, simple enough to use and peace of mind knowing we could explore new areas and find our way back.

Bought this unit knowing just what it can do because I
already had the rhino 120 and I knew it would be better with
more bells and whistles. Disappointing that it does not have
a temperature gauge built in but the color screen and touch
is a plus.peer to peer is great for when hunting in party's
and the battery will last for a couple of days. Just wish
the radios could do 5 watts in Canada but still works for a
great distance for 2 watts. Recommend this unit to anyone.

Even using the 5W American version, range on this unit is
terrible, nothing close to the advertised distance... We
are getting about a mile or two... As for polling, we have
had no success getting that to work, often trying over and
over with units 10 ft apart, though they show 5 km apart.
Don't kid yourself with this unit - we want them to work but
they DO NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED.
