Recent reviews for this item: Mike, April 9, 2013 I recently enjoyed an hunting safari in Africa and was the main reason I purchased the Rino GPS. Due to the remote locations we didn't always have access to recharge batteries. The Alkaline Battery Pack was the answer, I had extra batteries with me and could replace the weak batteries in the field, very convenient, easy to use. I purchased two battery packs to make the swap a little easier and quicker. I was pleased with the battery packs and would recommend them for anyone that does not have recharging facilities at hand. Garmin when you do not have access to some way to charge
your unit. I went deer hunting this year, our deer camp
had no electricity. With this battery pack, I had no
worries. It uses regular alkaline AA batteries. huntnfreak, February 10, 2012 good to have when you have no access to hydro but have spare
batteries. It is a little bulkier than the original lithium
battery pack but works great with my Rino.
