I got the Roadmate 360 about a week ago because I am directionally challenged. This is a wonderful machine but it does have its limitations. The map is very clear and the verbal directions are great BUT the maps is slightly dated and any new roads in the last 2-3 years and any new neighbourhoods or new businessess may not be included. It is also of limited use in a rural area. The device and I may not always agree on what is the best or quickest route, but it does get me there and is much better than wandering aimlessly. You want to program it while sitting still but after that it just calls out instructions " turn ____ in 1/2 mile " "approaching ____ turn" and then a chime which means 'turn now'. I am very pleased. I could only ask for better(up-to-date) maps and maybe batteries (only works on 12v or 110v so that when you carry it with you (too exposed and valuable to leave on the car dash) you could use it to find your way back to the car in the mall parking lot. Highly reccommended for those of us who get lost easily in the city.
