Review: I've only had my Magellan Roadmate 700 for about 3 weeks. I had a problem at first getting it to locate where I was. I had to actually go in and put my address in and then after that it was fine. I had read a review about that before I bought it and someone else had that same problem. There's a few things I don't understand about it because in general it is so easy to use that you don't have to have step by step instructions....even I could figure it out! One thing it is doing now is that it is not recalculating the route if I make a wrong or just make a turn that it isn't showing. At first it would recalculate immediately if I did something it wasn't telling me to do. Now it doesn't recalculate at all and that was one of the main reasons I chose the 700 model. If anyone else has had this problem, please feel free to e-mail me at LARCRED@AOL.COM. Other than that I think it is a great product.

Bought the Magellan 700 last year after purchasing a fifth wheel to go on the road full time. Best buy we could have made. Never had to look at a map. It gave us confidence driving through new cities and country (in the U.S. and Canada)knowing that we had our GPS to guide us. Only wish we could switch between users without turning it off and on again and that post offices were available as a POI. Also, what happens when you use up the 300 addresses?
