This is the 3rd generation of Garmin GPS that I have used and is great in my view. Lighting fast processor that will redirect you at the same time that it tells you, you are off route. The 2610 is well suited for a motorcycle as it does not have a hard drive that takes a beating from vibrations. I use a 2 gig Memory that allows you to down load the entire Us, Canada and more. Great unit that I highly recommend.

I use this GPS for my motorcycle and automobile. It has clear audio to complement the visual directions which makes for safer riding as I can listen to the directions versus needing to take my eyes off the road to see the directions. The 2610 has a feature that automatically adjusts for daylight and night that makes the screen clearly seen no matter how bright or dark it is without fadeout or being too bright.
I highly recommend this GPS, especially if looking for an excellent solution for motorcycle trips.

In one word FANTASTIC! When the couriered showed up I was in a rush to meet with a client. It took me 20 minutes to take the 2610 out of the box, read the manual, install the software on my computer, and the maps on the 2610. I am very impressed. It did however take me a couple days to learn the unit, and I am still learning several months later. Enjoying the 2610, and would highly reccomend it. GPSCity has been fantastic for anything I needed including an update MAP CDROM.
