I purchased the Garmin mount for use on my Honda ST1300. It
works great! Sleek design and perfect height when used with
the 6" Ram connection arm. I purchased a machined mount from
Motorcycle Larry.com which replaces the factory steering
stem cover. I added the optional Powerlet power outlet in
the same mount so I have easy access to power.

This cradle should be on the front page of this website!
The cradle is a Garmin OEM unit which will fit any
StreetPilot 2XXX GPS. The included power cable worked
perfectly for my BMW R1100RT. The connector is a nice tight
fit, and the cavity for the connector on the unit holds it
in place nicely. There is a slot which holds the loose
connector when you have the unit out of the cradle. You'll
probably want to get shorter mounting screws (I used 1"
screws instead of the supplied 1-1/2).
I have a gadget shelf mounted above the dash and below the
windscreen. I opted to make my own mount out of ABS
plastic which fit the existing mount holes on my shelf.
After a little fiddling with the positioning, I have it set
up perfectly. It's mounted high enough that I can see the
GPS without taking my eyes off the road in front of me.
