The c550 StreetPilot seems to have addressed all of the issues that kept me from buying a c3xx StreetPilot ....
* display is very bright & clear, even in sun!
* speaks streets names clearly
* integrate Bluetooth works great with my cell phone
* GPS receiver is VERY sensitive - even picks up signals in my garage and house!
I'm not sure about the integrated FM traffic receiver (built into the 12V car adapter). It works fine and picks up local traffic alerts, but I haven't had a chance to test its re-routing abilities yet. Not sure if it's worth paying for after the free 90-day trial.
All in all a great GPS!

This is a great GPS for the car.It will get you there.This is the ninth gps that I have owned as for driving it it the best.The bluetooth works great.If you do not need bluetooth you will save money on the c330 that has the same program.

I bought the 550c to replace the 196c. The bluetooth and mp3 are neat, and the unit performs very well. However, I miss a few features of the 196. There is no way to view the elevation, and the 196 would let you change the data fields, the 550 does not. It wouldd be nice to beable to change the fields on the page that shows moving speed, time, etc.
