Easier to remove stand from GPS. when we exit the car we never leave the GPS behind. Sits on the dashboard and does not move as one turns corners or makes sudden stops. With the mount adaptor removed, which is easy to do, you can slip it under a seat or into the glovebox. All purchase documentation was seamless, and the shipping was 'very reasonable'!
