My thruHull transducer went out on me midseason.I did not
want to haul the boat out so i popped this one in to get me
by.Reads bottom OK but would not use it as my primary one.

I installed this in my sailboat with a Garmin 521S. Works
great, easy to install. Best part, I didn't have to take the
boat out of the water and drill a hole in it!

This transducer is easy to install, comes with a very long
cable attached and you don't need extra wire or connectors
for most boats. It works great with my GPSMap 520s. Best of
all, no holes in my boat!

I mounted this unit in my 2007 seadoo speedster 150. The
base is adjustable to accomodate different dead rise angle.
You need to put a non toxic anti-freeze in the tank. This
serves as the conducting medium between the transducer and
the hull. Follow the instruction carefully and should work.
I am using a Garmin GPSMAP 440S with it.
Even at full speed it still can get the depth and outline.
