This is for the non-frequent fisherman that do not want to
drill a hole through the boat. Just simply attach to
transom for those few fishing trips you friends ask for.
Perfect!

My aluminum boat does not have an outboard. It has an
electric trolling motor only. Did not want to drill holes
in the hull so I tried the suction mount as a "permanent"
mount. It has stayed on for five trips now which included
towing the boat on the trailer. I tied a string onto the
transducer in case the suction mount comes loose so the
transducer would not be hanging by the cable when I am
trailering. But so far the mount has stayed stuck. Good
price from GPS City. Fair shipping charges and quick
shipping. I am completely satisfied with the suction mount
and with GPS City.
