I have had three new TomToms, state of the art. Purchased in the last 8 months. The user friendly software is awesome but they are junk. I have had three fail on me. Lost satellite signal and NEVER regained it. Finally went to a Garman 2595. A bit un-user friendly getting started but after help from Radio shack employee I got it figured out. Great product. NEVER! get a Tom Tom.

Have had Magellan, then a Garmin, and now a Tom Tom. Bought
the Tom Tom on sale. What a waste of money. Very difficult
to use. Other 2 brands much more user friendly. Address
function on Tom Tom ok but trying to find a point of
interest is an exercise in frustration. Also the suction cup
mount is garbage. Have gone back to using my old Magellan
and the Tom Tom stays in the drawer. Word to the wise.
