Recent reviews for this item: Richard, January 26, 2009 I have been using GPSs now going on 10 yrs or
more. Only recently have I been exposed to
automotive GPSs. I love the functionality of the
unit, text to speech etc... how quickly it can
re-calculate route deviations etc... What I do not
like is the route selections. This would not be a
major draw back if, I am in a location where I do
not know where I am going and wish to get there.
However, using the GPS in a known city the route
selection leaves a little to be desired, even
after manipulating the preferences. Otherwise I am
pleased with the unit, and hence why it did not
receive full ratings Chuck, January 9, 2009 This was the perfect gift for my directionally
challenged spouse - she's always getting lost.
But without glancing at the manual she was
exploiting its capabilities within minutes. This
is way interfaces all should be designed. The
unit, however, is a bit weak at the end game, in
the last 200 feet of a trip (unless you pull

It's so easy to use, it kind of took the fun out of
it, If you can read, and your not afraid to try,
this unit works really well.
