I traced the problem down to the mini USB connector on the 12 volt adapter. Ordered a replacement from GPS City and my NUVI has worked perfectly since then. wife bought a knockoff kit from Amazon that was just a piece
of junk. So, I then went to the master, GPS City Got a Garmin
brand replacement part that works like a champ.
