You can not plug the cord into the unit (GPSMap 62s) before mounting the unit. Then it's a blind connection on the back side. But the cord is flawless. Mel, April 29, 2013 The car plug in for my GPS broke and left me without power. Went on the Tom Tom web site and found a replacement unit in Calgary, AB. Went on line and ordered it and 2 days later it was delivered. Work just great. Thanks
