Battery life was down to about 25 minutes on the old
battery, and now, back up to 3.5 - 4 hours. Timber, August 9, 2011 My zumo550 started locking up, would not turn back on
without the garmin soft boot up(remove battery). I read
about the problem here, ordered one and problem fixed. My
battery was 5 years old. Quick shipping, u have my business! John, July 4, 2011 The old battery was causing the Zumo to behave erratically.
Removal and replacement of the old battery was required
several times. New battery solved the problem.
The new battery showed 4.0 volts after a full overnight
charge even though it is listed as a 4.2 volt battery. The
old battery was 4.0 volts as well.
