service Steve, March 19, 2012 The ZUMO vehicle mount works very well. It's very secure
yet easy to remove the ZUMO when desired. My purchase was
a replacement for my original mount that I destroyed by
accident. The new one came with the "suction cup" mount
with the "G-ball" fitting. I wanted to covert to a 1" RAM
ball fitting which turned into a problem. I finally got it
resolved, so if you want to convert to a 1" ball (which
gives you many more mounting options) the RAM parts that
gets you there are, one each of RAP-SBA-RGU, RAP-SB-238FU
and RAM-B-238U. These parts just get you from the G-ball
socket on the back of the GARMIN mount to a 1" ball, then
you get whatever 1" fittings you need for your application. Richard, February 29, 2012 The unit fell off the windshield the first time I used it.
the ball that fits into the unit came out. The the suction
cup and arm fell out of my truck without me knowing it. I
called Garmin and they are sending out the missing piece at
no charge. I hope I can make it useable again.
